What time is it?

What Time Is It?
The students were able to decorate their own watchband creatively. They were then assigned a time by the English teacher and auxiliar. Finally, with a list of their classmates, the students went around the classroom and asked “what time is it?” and recorded what each of their classmates answered while looking at their own watches to tell time when asked.

The students were able to use the following sentence structure “what time is it?,” and learn the meanings of expressions such as “it is quarter past ______,” “it is quarter to _____?,” “it is half past _______,” “it is ______ o’clock.”
The students were also able to compare and contrast hour and minute hands, and tell time to the hour, half hour, and quarter of/to an hour.
